What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are a synthetic fiber that are made to replicate the natural lash.. Extensions help lengthen, curl, and give your natural lash line a fuller appearance. Lash extensions are applied one on one, and with proper application, should look and feel like a natural lash.

How long do eyelash extensions last?

Lash extensions will last through your natural growth cycle. It is normal to shed 2 to 5 lashes per day, so a client is asked to come in for a fill service every 2 to 3 weeks to lash the new growth, as well as replace any extensions that may be grown out.

Are eyelash extensions safe?

Our lash artists have been trained and certified in the lash industry to provide a clean, safe service. We only use professional grade adhesives to attach the extension and the adhesive never comes in contact with the skin.

What do I need to do to prepare for a lash service?

We recommend that you come to your appointment with no eye makeup or mascara on your lashes. It is important to have clean lashes so the adhesive has direct contact with the natural lash for optimum bonding. If you are unable to clean your lashes before you arrive, a lash cleansing station will be provided for you in the bathroom so your lash artist can focus all their time on applying the extensions. If you are unable to utilize the cleansing station, an additional charge for a lash bath may be added to your lash appointment.

How do I take care of my new eyelash extensions?

• Avoid getting lashes wet for the first 24 hours

• Wash lashes with lash extension cleanser every night to remove makeup and oils for longer adhesive bond

• Avoid saunas, swimming, and steam rooms for first 24 hours

• Do not perm eyelashes or use a lash curler

• Avoid oil based facial cleanser and makeup

How do I wash my eyelash extensions?

It is recommended that you wash your lashes every night with a lash extension cleanser that your beauty specialist recommends. This will remove all makeup and oils from the day to ensure your lashes will last as long as possible. Dispense 1 to 2 pumps of cleanser into hand and use a brush to apply cleanser to lashes, rinse brush and repeat with water until all cleanser as been removed. Dab dry with cloth then brush through lashes with a clean mascara wand.

Can I apply mascara to my extensions?

Eyelashes extensions are designed to provide length and fullness to the natural lash so mascara is not needed. Our beauty specialists do not recommend wearing mascara but do understand that some clients like that little extra. When a client would like to use mascara with their extensions, we do recommend using an extension safe mascara to protect the integrity of the extensions. Please ask you artist which mascara is safe to use.

How long will it take to apply eyelash extensions?

Our goal is to add an extension to every single natural lash. A full set of extensions can range from roughly 1.5 hours to 3.5 hours depending on the type of extensions and how many natural lashes a client has. Fills will take less time.

What happens if I choose to have my extensions removed?

We offer a lash extension removal service in which we apply a professional grade gel that helps dissolve the adhesive and the extensions can be wiped away easily, exposing the natural lash.
